All Under 10 through Under 19 teams in good standing and that compete in an approved and affiliated CYSA league in accordance with the cup eligiblity rules are qualified to enter CYSA  Cups.  Each team can enter only one CYSA Cup competition per season and should select the level of competition as defined below.

2010 CYSA State CupCYSA STATE CUP

CYSA State Cup is an open competition for any boys' and girls' Division 1, 3 or 4 team.  This is the highest degree of state-level competition offered and is the only CYSA Cup available for the Division 1 teams to enter.  Additionally, some of the strongest Division 3 teams opt to test their skills in CYSA State Cup.  Although it is rare, a Division 4 team can choose to participate in State Cup.  This Cup is the approved state qualifier for the US Youth Soccer National Championship SeriesCYSA State Cup begins with a weekend of preliminary rounds for each of the teams.  After several more weekends of single elimination rounds, the competition culminates with the annual State Cup Championships where the Division 1 state champions are crowned.  Winners of the U-12 through U-19 CYSA State Cup competitions go on to represent CYSA in the US Youth Soccer Region IV Championships (Far West Regionals).  Winners of U-14 through U-19 Regional Championships advance to the US Youth Soccer National Championships.  CYSA State Cup takes place in mid-winter for the U-10 through U-13 teams and begin in early spring for the U-14 through U-19 age groups.  Participating teams may be subject to travel over long distances and rescheduling of games due to adverse weather conditions.  Teams should take these factors into consideration before applying.  Teams can qualify for the Early Bird Entry fee if they submit a complete application by 5 PM October 15, 2009.  The application deadline for CYSA State Cup is 5:00 PM November 2, 2009.  Teams that miss the application deadline may be eligible to enter the Reserve Pool.  More details can be found in the RULES section of the State Cup page.

2010 CYSA Association CupCYSA ASSOCIATION CUP

Geared primarily toward Division 3 level teams (although Division 4 teams are eligible to enter if they elect to do so) the CYSA Association Cup is an open competition for any boys' or girls' CYSA Division 3 or Division 4 team in the U-10, U-11, U-12, U-13, U-14, U-16 and U-19 age groups.  Any eligible CYSA Division 3 or Division 4 team in good standing may apply to enter the CYSA Association Cup.  The Cup begins with a weekend of preliminary rounds, and during the course of several subsequent weekends of single elimination rounds, advancing teams are determined.  The Cup culminates with the annual CYSA Association Cup Championships where the Division 3 state champions are crowned.  The CYSA Association Cup is a statewide event held in winter for the U-10 through U-14 teams and early spring for the U-16 through U-19 teams.  Participating teams may be subject to travel over long distances and rescheduling of games due to adverse weather conditions.  Teams should take these factors into consideration before applying.  Teams can qualify for the Early Bird Entry fee is they submit a complete application by 5 PM October 15, 2009.  The application deadline for CYSA Association Cup is 5:00 PM November 2, 2009.  Teams that miss the application deadline may be eligible to enter the Reserve Pool.  More details can be found in the RULES section of the Association Cup Page.

2009-2010 CYSA Founders' CupCYSA FOUNDERS' CUP

Created specifically for Division 4 teams,  The CYSA Founders' Cup competition provides an avenue for recreational teams to compete for a state championship title.  It is an open competition for any boys' or girls Division 4 team in the U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 and U-19 age groups.  Any CYSA registered Division 4 team that is in good standing may apply to enter the CYSA Founders' Cup.  The Cup beings with a weekend of preliminary rounds, from which winning teams advance to the single elimination rounds on a second weekend of play.  Cup play culminates with the annual CYSA Founders' Cup Championships where the Division 4 champions are crowned.  The CYSA Founders' Cup begins in late fall for the U-12 and U-14 teams and in late winter for U-16 and U-19 teams.  Because the CYSA Founders' Cup is a statewide event held outdoors, participating teams may be subject to travel over long distances and rescheduling of games due to adverse weather conditions.  Teams should take these factors into consideration before applying.  Founders' Cup U-10 through U-14 applications are due by 5:00 PM on November 2, 2009 while the U-16 through U-19 Founders' Cup entries must be in the CYSA State Office by 5:00 PM on January 4, 2010.
