11/20/09 1PM - The U10 schedule is now available in the "Schedules and
Scores" section. Directions to Robertson Park can be found by
selecting MAPS from the CYSA homepage and clicking on Field Locations
Maps. An event specific map with field layout will be available in the
near future. Check-in information and other team information is being
put together as well and will be posted and e-mailed to teams as soon
as it is available.

CUP RESERVE POOL RULES
Teams that complete an application after 5:00 PM
November 2, 2009 for the U10, U12 and U14 age groups or 5:00 PM January 4,
2010 for U16 and U19 age groups are not guaranteed the opportunity to play.
They must pay an entry fee of $350.00 by certified check, money order, or bank
cashiers check. Any team that enters
after the November 2, 2009 application period, for U12 and U14, or January 4, 2010
application period for the U16 and U19 divisions and meets all other entrance
requirements will be put into the “Reserve Pool”. U10-U14 Founders’ Cup Reserve Pool Applications
will be accepted until 5PM November 9, 2009.
U16-U19 Founders’ Cup Reserve Pool Applications will be accepted until
5PM January 4, 2010.
The deadline to
adjust and add teams to flights divisible by four (4) shall be one week prior
to the start of play for each age/gender division of play. Anytime that a team is needed to “fill” a
flight in CYSA Founders’ Cup
Play, a team in the “Reserve Pool” in the proper age/gender group shall be
blind drawn from the “Pool”. Any team
not blind drawn from the “Reserve Pool” when play commences shall have its $350.00 entry fee returned to the team within thirty (30) days from
the first day of play in the team’s age/gender division.
The CYSA
Founders’ Cup Committee may blind draw additional teams from the “Reserve Pool”
of teams in a particular division to make that division divisible by four (4)
prior to the draw. The CYSA
Founders’ Cup Committee will only draw enough teams to get to the first number
of teams divisible by four (4) above the number of teams that have entered CYSA
Founders’ Cup in the specific age/gender division of play at the time of the CYSA
Founders’ Cup Deadline for Entry.
The CYSA Founders’ Cup Committee cannot draw
anymore than a maximum of three (3) teams to attain a division of play that is
divisible by four (4).

2009-2010 U16-U19 Founders' Cup Application Log-In
Created specifically for Division 4 teams, The CYSA
Founders' Cup competition provides an avenue for recreational teams to
compete for a state championship title. It is an open competition for
any boys' or girls Division 4 team in the U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 and
U-19 age groups. Any CYSA registered Division 4 team that is in good standing may apply to enter the CYSA
Founders' Cup. The Cup beings with a weekend of preliminary rounds,
from which winning teams advance to the single elimination rounds on a
second weekend of play. Cup play culminates with the annual CYSA Founders' Cup Championships where the Division 4 champions are crowned. The CYSA Founders' Cup begins in late fall for the U-12 and U-14 teams and in late winter for U-16 and U-19 teams. Because the CYSA
Founders' Cup is a statewide event held outdoors, participating teams
may be subject to travel over long distances and rescheduling of games
due to adverse weather conditions. Teams should take these factors
into consideration before applying. Founders' Cup U-10 through U-14
applications are due by 5:00 PM on November 2, 2009 while the U-16 through U-19 Founders' Cup entries must be in the CYSA State Office by 5:00 PM on January 4, 2010.
