ODP Try-Outs for 2010
The ODP selection process starts at the District level. District ODP pools may be formed in each of the nine districts from players within your own district. Players wishing to participate in their District ODP must do so within the district that they are registered. Players may not try out in districts other than in which they are registered, without permission from you Distrcit ODP Coordinators. Open tryouts for CYSAregistered players of U13, U14, U15, U16 (Birth years-1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998) boys and girls are conducted each spring (April-June). Each district administers their own tryouts. January-December birth years will prevail for ODP only. League and club teams will remain on the August 1st to July 31st format.
State ODP Players will begin attending Try-outs in October. (more info to follow)
For the State Identification Information, please go the State ODP:

Each player that tried out for a District ODP pool may pay a fee which is collected on or before the first tryout by their District. Once a player has made the District Pool, an additional fee may be assessed to each player. Each player that is selected for a District pool will receive a white T-shirt and a royal blue T-shirt that will be used at all of the "District Play Days". All Districts will have the same type of uniform shirts. District ODP roster size will have up to a maximum of 20 players. The same District roster will be used for both of the "District Play Days".
The District ODP pools train for the "District Play Days" held in September and October on non-tournament Sundays, when no league games are scheduled.
CYSArelies heavily on the Districts' support of the ODP process, including District ODP pool tryouts, training and the District pools' play at play days. If talented players are missed at the start, they are lost from the entire process.
